    Antonis Zacharopoulos  
  Antonis Zacharopoulos acquired his Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (1997) at the Athens Technological and Education Institute and his Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy (2002) at the University College of London. His Master’s Thesis focused on the effects of Myofascial Manipulation Techniques on the surface Electromyography (SEMG) signal of the Lumbar Paraspinal muscles in non-specific chronic Low Back Pain sufferers. His research interest focuses on Myofascial Pain Syndromes and its relation to movement impairments and compromised Functional capacity and in the area of Sports Injuries Prediction and Prevention. He has extensive clinical experience and expertise in the field of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy comprised of five years of practicing physiotherapy in the United Kingdom in many NHS teaching Hospitals specialized in the field of Orthopaedic & Musculoskeletal disorders and Sports Injuries. In 2004, he moved to Cyprus where he established his private practice offering Physiotherapy services as a private Physiotherapy practitioner at a Clinical Specialist level. He has attended and presented numerous seminars and conferences in relation to clinical practice and contemporary techniques in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy & Manual Therapy. He has been involved in professional soccer being the Head Physiotherapist of APOEL FC in 2007-2008. He currently is involved in teaching at the undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Nicosia (University of Hertfordshire Cyprus program) as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy (Advanced Neuro-Musculoskeletal Practice) as well as practices clinical physiotherapy at his private practice in the field of Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy. He is also a member of the Kinetic Control and Performance Matrix team as an Instructor trainee, being an international presenter of the methods for Greece, Cyprus & Middle East. Since December 2012, he offers professional services to AEL FC as Sports Physiotherapist & Sports Injuries Prevention Consultant. Antonis is member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (U.K) and Accredited  member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapist (U.K). He is a Clinical Specialist level physiotherapist and Lead of the Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Prevention departments of the A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH.  
       
    Anastasia Uvarova  
  Anastasia Uvarova has acquired her Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (2010) from the University of Bradford (U.K). Her research proposal was focused on Mirror Therapy effect on Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome acquired post-upper limb fracture. She has gained varied clinical experience in several large NHS hospitals, particularly focusing on Musculoskeletal disorders and Rehabilitation of Orthopaedic Trauma. Anastasia has over two years of post-graduate Physiotherapy experience in Musculoskeletal outpatient field, focusing on post-surgery and trauma rehabilitation, as well as treating long standing musculoskeletal conditions like Shoulder girdle disorders (Impingement syndrome) Lower Back pain, Neck pain and Scoliosis as well as Sports injuries Rehabilitation. She is trained in Maitland Concept & Mulligan Manual therapy techniques, Myofascial Release, Soft Tisue Release and Trigger points therapy (International Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy). She has developed special interest in Clinical Pilates, a type of exercises created especially for patients suffering from various musculoskeletal disorders. She completed her training in Manchester (U.K).  Anastasia is an Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) Certified Clinical Pilates Matwork Instructor. Occupational Health Physiotherapy is the most recent & greatest ‘indulgence’ of Anastasia. Office and industrial ergonomics is of her recent special interests, where she applies her clinical and analytical skills for helping individuals to develop safer and more comfortable working environments. Currently Anastasia is involved in work station assessment in several companies as well as giving detailed advice to practice patients. Anastasia is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (U.K), member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health & Ergonomics (U.K) and  Cyprus Physiotherapy Association, Senior Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Clinical Educator of undergraduate Physiotherapy students (University of Hertfordshire programme) of the University of Nicosia. She is member of the A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH team since September 2010. Anastasia is the Lead of the Occupational Health Physiotherapy and the Scoliosis departments of the A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH. Anastasia speaks fluently the Russian, English and Greek languages. Currently, she takes lessons in Arabic language!  
       
    Tatiana Dronyk  
  Tatiana Dronyk acquired her Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (2011) at the Athens Technological and Education Institute. Her Bachelor’s thesis was focused on the appearance and development of Friedrich’s Ataxia and instructions regarding physiotherapeutic examination. She has acquired her clinical experience in physiotherapy by practicing at the Nicosia General Hospital and in private Physiotherapy centers in Nicosia & Athens. She is currently pursuing post-graduate qualifications in the field of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and practicing the Maitland Concept of IMTA (International Maitland Teachers Association), which focuses in comprehensive problem-solving and management of patients with Neuro-Musculoskeletal disorders. She is also a Pilates Instructor practicing the Pilates Rehabilitation Program of G.R.A.F.T.S designed to promote core stability, flexibility, endurance, postural and body awareness and to correct muscle imbalance. She has attended seminars in relation to Clinical practice and methods in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She has also attended continuous professional training seminars  in Myofascial Release Techniques, Soft Tissue Release and Muscle Energy Techniques under the instruction of Mrs Tanya Ball MSc BA LSSM BCSI MISRM MCNHC MIASI Sports Massage & Remedial Therapist / Board Certified Structural Integrator. Her specific interest for the Management of  Myofascial Pain Syndromes, which very often we manage and treat in A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH, made her to pursue more specific education in the field of Myofascial Trigger Point therapy under the educational standards of International Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy (IMTT) group. She has completed the Level I Manual Trigger Point Therapy seminar, which was organised in the premises of A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH in December 2012, in Nicosia. She was trained under the instruction of Mrs Heidi Tanno-Rast P.T, who is Senior Instructor of IMTT and a private Physiotherapist from Switzerland with extensive Clinical experience and expertise in Myofascial Pain Syndromes. Tetyana is a member of the Cyprus Physiotherapy Association, Senior Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Clinical Educator of undergraduate Physiotherapy students (University of Hertfordshire programme) of the University of Nicosia. She is a member of the A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH team since April 2012. Tetyana speaks fluently the Russian, English and Greek languages!  
       
    Marinos Evripidou  
  Marinos Evripidou acquired his Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (2012) at the European University Cyprus. His Bachelor Thesis was ‘The difference between the quadriceps and hamstrings ratio in elderly women with Osteoarthritis’. His areas of interest are in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and especially Sports Injury Rehabilitation and Prevention. He is also involved in his clinical practice with the Performance Matrix and Functional Movement Screening (FMS) screening tools, especially designed for Sports Injury Prevention. Marinos is a FMS Certified Exercise Professional. He is also a Pilates Instructor (The Pilates Coach concept of Lesley Bender Mat & Reformer) and he is currently completing the certificaion series of Modified Pilates for Rehabilitation from the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI). He is trying to integrate his knowledge in Neurodynamics with the Clinical Pilates. He has attended seminars in Mobilisation of the Nervous System (David Butler concept) and he has attended continuous professional training seminars  in Myofascial Release Techniques, Soft Tissue Release and Muscle Energy Techniques under the instruction of Mrs Tanya Ball MSc BA LSSM BCSI MISRM MCNHC MIASI Sports Massage & Remedial Therapist / Board Certified Structural Integrator.  His specific interest for the Management of  Myofascial Pain Syndromes, which very often we manage and treat in A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH, made him to pursue more specific education in the field of Myofascial Trigger Point therapy under the educational standards of International Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy (IMTT) group. He is involved with the AEL FC as part of the Sports Injury Prevention services that A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH offers to the Limassol based Football team.   
       
    Ileana Nicholson  
  Ileana Nicholson studied Philosophy (Single Honours) at Kings College, London. She has a Masters from Central Saint Martins at Perfomance, Design and Practice as well as a Certificate of Attendance at Communications at the prestigious University of Southern California. She has written two theses regarding the philosophy of Aesthetics and she has had various articles and poems published. During the summer 2012, she conducted a series of free lectures regarding philosophy, critical thinking and creative writing with great success.    
       
    Anne Birzu  
  Anne Birzu acquired her Bachelor Degree from the Faculty of Letters  and Science Communication with specialization in English language and  Literature at “Stefan cel  Mare” University Suceava (2009) and her Masters Degree in “British Culture and Civilization in the Context of Globalization”(2011) at the same university. In parallel, she attended a Vocational training program specialized in Massage under the Aegis of Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Education (2008). She started her career as a masseuse at “Denis Star” Spa, where she worked for four years. As a member of the Rehabilitation support team of the Rowing team of the University of Suceava, she specialised in the field of Remedial & Sports Massage. She has attended continuous professional training seminars  in Myofascial Release Techniques, Soft Tissue Release and Muscle Energy Techniques under the instruction of Mrs Tanya Ball MSc BA LSSM BCSI MISRM MCNHC MIASI Sports Massage & Remedial Therapist / Board Certified Structural Integrator. Her specific interest for the Management of Myofascial Pain Syndromes, which very often we manage and treat in A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH, made her to pursue more specific education in the field of Myofascial Trigger Point therapy under the educational standards of International Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy (IMTT) group. Anne has also attended Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) seminars in London. Recently, she has developed interest in teaching Clinical Pilates and Functional training and has commenced training within the framework of Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI). She is a member of the A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH team since April 2012. She is very popular among our customers as a highly skilled Remedial Massage Therapist.  
       
    Anthony Lisacek-Kiosoglous  
 
Anthony is the newest member of the clinic - having graduated from the University of South Australia in 2015 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Anthony moved to Cyprus and is currently at the European University School of Medicine. 
Anthony’s physiotherapy experience has been obtained not only in Australia but also in various countries around the world, for example the United Kingdom, Nepal & Qatar. 
He is very passionate about pain management, rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and his special interests include:
Pain management, mobilisation, headaches, migraine management without drugs, shoulder, neck, hip, hamstring, calf and groin pain, shin splints, back pain, bulging discs, pinched nerve roots, radiating pain, ankle injuries (new and old), knee pain, post-operative rehabilitation;
Woman’s health both pre and post natal;
Childhood musculoskeletal injuries, exercise programs, ultrasound, massage, trigger point therapy, home stretch routines, strength training, strapping and taping, ergonomics and posture assessment; 
Clinical Pilates, hydrotherapy and core strengthening in particular looking at biomechanics in sports such as running, soccer, football, rugby, cycling, tennis and squash, gait analysis for all ages in particular considering balance and biomechanics of the lower limb. 
Anthony holds a certificate in Emergency Medical First Response with St Johns Ambulance and was a regular volunteer whilst living in Australia. 
He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Pain Network and is a registered Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency. 
In his spare time Anthony has worked at a soccer club as a physiotherapist.  He is engaged with continual professional development where he undertakes regular courses. 
He is a keen long distance runner and athlete whereby he has already competed in the Limassol Marathon.
