Anthony is the newest member of the clinic - having graduated from the University of South Australia in 2015 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Anthony moved to Cyprus and is currently at the European University School of Medicine.
Anthony’s physiotherapy experience has been obtained not only in Australia but also in various countries around the world, for example the United Kingdom, Nepal & Qatar.
He is very passionate about pain management, rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and his special interests include:
Pain management, mobilisation, headaches, migraine management without drugs, shoulder, neck, hip, hamstring, calf and groin pain, shin splints, back pain, bulging discs, pinched nerve roots, radiating pain, ankle injuries (new and old), knee pain, post-operative rehabilitation;
Woman’s health both pre and post natal;
Childhood musculoskeletal injuries, exercise programs, ultrasound, massage, trigger point therapy, home stretch routines, strength training, strapping and taping, ergonomics and posture assessment;
Clinical Pilates, hydrotherapy and core strengthening in particular looking at biomechanics in sports such as running, soccer, football, rugby, cycling, tennis and squash, gait analysis for all ages in particular considering balance and biomechanics of the lower limb.
Anthony holds a certificate in Emergency Medical First Response with St Johns Ambulance and was a regular volunteer whilst living in Australia.
He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Pain Network and is a registered Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.
In his spare time Anthony has worked at a soccer club as a physiotherapist. He is engaged with continual professional development where he undertakes regular courses.
He is a keen long distance runner and athlete whereby he has already competed in the Limassol Marathon.
