    Antonis Zacharopoulos  
 

Antonis Zacharopoulos acquired his Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (1997) at the Athens Technological and Education Institute and his Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy (2002) at the University College of London. His Master’s Thesis focused on the effects of Myofascial Manipulation Techniques on the surface Electromyography (SEMG) signal of the Lumbar Paraspinal muscles in non-specific chronic Low Back Pain sufferers. His research interest focuses on Myofascial Pain Syndromes and its relation to movement impairments and compromised Functional capacity and in the area of Sports Injuries Prediction and Prevention. He has extensive clinical experience and expertise in the field of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy comprised of five years of practicing physiotherapy in the United Kingdom in many NHS teaching Hospitals specialized in the field of Orthopaedic & Musculoskeletal disorders and Sports Injuries. In 2004, he moved to Cyprus where he established his private practice offering Physiotherapy services as a private Physiotherapy practitioner at a Clinical Specialist level. He has attended and presented numerous seminars and conferences in relation to clinical practice and contemporary techniques in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy & Manual Therapy. He has been involved in professional soccer being the Head Physiotherapist of APOEL FC in 2007-2008. He currently is involved in teaching at the undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Nicosia (University of Hertfordshire Cyprus program) as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy (Advanced Neuro-Musculoskeletal Practice) as well as practices clinical physiotherapy at his private practice in the field of Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy. He is also a member of the Kinetic Control and Performance Matrix team as an Instructor trainee, being an international presenter of the methods for Greece, Cyprus & Middle East. Since December 2012, he offers professional services to AEL FC as Sports Physiotherapist & Sports Injuries Prevention Consultant. Antonis is member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (U.K) and Accredited  member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapist (U.K). He is a Clinical Specialist level physiotherapist and Lead of the Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Prevention departments of the A-Z PHYSIO HEALTH.

 
     
    Anthony Lisacek-Kiosoglous  
 
Anthony is the newest member of the clinic - having graduated from the University of South Australia in 2015 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Anthony moved to Cyprus and is currently at the European University School of Medicine. 
Anthony’s physiotherapy experience has been obtained not only in Australia but also in various countries around the world, for example the United Kingdom, Nepal & Qatar. 
He is very passionate about pain management, rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and his special interests include:
Pain management, mobilisation, headaches, migraine management without drugs, shoulder, neck, hip, hamstring, calf and groin pain, shin splints, back pain, bulging discs, pinched nerve roots, radiating pain, ankle injuries (new and old), knee pain, post-operative rehabilitation;
Woman’s health both pre and post natal;
Childhood musculoskeletal injuries, exercise programs, ultrasound, massage, trigger point therapy, home stretch routines, strength training, strapping and taping, ergonomics and posture assessment; 
Clinical Pilates, hydrotherapy and core strengthening in particular looking at biomechanics in sports such as running, soccer, football, rugby, cycling, tennis and squash, gait analysis for all ages in particular considering balance and biomechanics of the lower limb. 
Anthony holds a certificate in Emergency Medical First Response with St Johns Ambulance and was a regular volunteer whilst living in Australia. 
He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Pain Network and is a registered Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency. 
In his spare time Anthony has worked at a soccer club as a physiotherapist.  He is engaged with continual professional development where he undertakes regular courses.
